Hello Moonshot
You asked for the positioning teardown, so here it is: where Moonshot's first screen sounds like Touchy's and Roma's, the one difference neither of them can claim, and three headlines to test this week.
James Praise · Positioning, Messaging and Go-to-Market
I read your homepage, your About page and your Y Combinator listing next to Touchy's and Roma's live pages, and scored all three on what a first screen owes a visitor: who it's for, what category it's in, what it concretely does, how it differs, and whether it sounds like a person talking. None of the three names a buyer. None states a difference. Yours is the widest miss, because your first screen carries no sentence about the product at all. Read the full teardown →
The opportunity matters more than your own gap does. "Saves you the hassle." "Knows the world around you." "Superpowered." Every one of you is writing to be admired rather than understood, so the plain-spoken position is still sitting open. The first company to put a line on the page that a normal person can repeat to a friend takes it.
You already own the difference. It's sitting five paragraphs down your own homepage: the half of your life that evaporates into what you said, felt, promised and forgot. See the positioning statement and the three headlines →
Roma acts on what you remember to tell it. Touchy acts on what you ask it. Moonshot acts on what you said to someone else and never wrote down. That makes your real competitor the note nobody took, not another assistant. I've also written up how I'd test any of this, since I don't have your numbers and won't pretend the headline I'd run first is the one that wins.
I do positioning, messaging and go-to-market for product-led companies. At Bujeti (YC W23) I built the positioning and the demand engine that produced 1,331 marketing qualified leads in six months. At Hank Robotics I took a pre-commercial robotics company from no marketing to 2,064% organic session growth in nine weeks. At Reform, the AI-assisted SEO engine I built scaled content velocity 100x and lifted non-branded organic traffic 48%.
I run Marketing In Action, and I build my own go-to-market tooling, including the outbound engine that found you in the first place and Marketing Agent Skills, the Claude Code skills I run this work on.
If this is the right problem for you, I'd like to talk about it directly.
