Hello Framer
Framer is building its first market-intelligence system on the Sales team. Here's how I'd build it, and the proof I've already built one like it.
James Praise · GTM Engineer
Framer raised a $100M Series D at a $2B valuation and is now hiring a GTM Engineer on the Sales team to build its signal system from scratch. Framer's strongest argument against Webflow and Wix is craft and site speed, so the most useful signal is one only Framer would think to track: a company that just raised a round and still runs a slow site on another platform. That company has new budget and a visible problem Framer already solves.
I'd prove one source end to end before building ten: funding events matched to a site performance and tech-stack check, scored against Framer's ideal customer profile, then posted to one Slack channel with a clear reason to reach out. Routing comes next as its own layer, mapping signal type and account tier to the right owner. Before adding anything from the evaluation list, I'd settle which system holds the truth for each data type, so HubSpot, Gong and Pocus don't end up with three versions of the same account.
I built the Prospect & Outbound Engine for my own go-to-market business: 40+ Python modules across 10+ sources, including SEC funding filings, Clutch, Yelp, GitHub, Hacker News and app stores, feeding one schema with deduplication, enrichment, signal scoring and a self-built email verifier. One live run sourced 409 companies, verified 271 emails and produced 267 send-ready leads.
At Reform, I led the email platform migration from Userlist to Brevo, validated every n8n workflow before cutover and built the PartnerStack affiliate program from scratch. At FunnelEnvy, I built the AI-enabled outbound stack on Clay that lifted outbound reply rates 27%.
I also built Marketing Agent Skills, 81 Claude Code skills I use every day, 34 of them public. Walkthroughs are in my AI Workflow Vault.
If this is the right problem for you, I'd like to talk about it directly.
