James Praise

Hello Dapta

Your launch post says 200K businesses. Your homepage says 50,000 and sells eight agents at once.

You just raised $6 million to drive customer acquisition, so I read the homepage, the Spanish homepage, your launch post and your careers page side by side. Here is what a first-time visitor meets, the audience numbers that disagree, and three headlines to test this week.

The Teardown

I'd start with what I already wrote: a teardown of your first screen, built from your own public pages and checked in Chrome on October 14. Read the full teardown →

Your pages give a reader five different figures for the size of your audience, and none of them says what it counts. The headline promises one sales agent, then the page shows eight agent cards, including a human resources screener and a collections agent. The agent your launch post describes, the one that answers, qualifies and books, shares the page with six others. Your launch post says Dapta first found traction among Spanish-speaking business owners, and the Spanish homepage still shows the agent cards in English.

I kept it to the message on the page. Your Performance Lead listing covers ads, tracking and funnels, and none of your six open roles is a positioning or website role.

Where I'd Start

I'd change two things first. Pick one definition of audience size and use it everywhere, then let the first screen sell the agent your customers already praise: the one that picks up the call and books the meeting. See the three headlines to test →

The three headlines come from the missed-call stories on your own homepage and from the customer quote in your launch post about leads moving on to a competitor. I don't have your conversion data and won't pretend the one I'd run first is the one that wins, so the page also lays out how I'd test them against your current headline.

Who Wrote This

I do positioning, messaging and go-to-market for product-led companies. At Reform I repositioned a form builder for one defined buyer and lifted trial activation 34%. At Bujeti (Y Combinator W23) I built the positioning and the demand engine behind 1,331 marketing qualified leads in six months.

I run Marketing In Action, including MIA Acquisition, a lead-generation system for US home service and other local businesses, the owners your agent answers calls for. I also build my own go-to-market tooling, including the outbound engine and Marketing Agent Skills, the Claude Code skills I run this work on.

Let's talk about Dapta.

If this is the right problem for you, I'd like to talk about it directly.
